GENERAL RULES GOVERNING ADMISSION INTO THE COLLEGE
Application forms for admission and copies of Prospectus can be obtained on payment of Rs. 25/– in person or Rs. 35/- by M.O., in the College Office. A candidate, who is desirous of applying for different combinations should submit separate applications.
While asking for forms, the applicant should state clearly the class and course into which admission is sought and the correct address to which the application form is to be sent.
All admissions are subject to the conditions stipulated by University, Board of Intermediate Education and the College from time to time.
The occupation and annual income of the Parent / Guardian once furnished should not be altered.
Each application should be accompanied by: (Enclosures according to the course)
a) Certified copy of the Pass Certificate cum Marks list of S.S.C/ Equivalent
b) Certified copy of the Pass Certificate cum Marks list of Intermediate / Equivalent
c) Certified copy of Transfer Certificate
d) Certified copy of Conduct Certificate
e) Three recent passport size photos.
S.C., ST. & B.C. Candidates who are eligible for scholarship must produce the following without fail:
f) Copy of Permanent Caste Certificate.
g) Copy of recent Income Certificate.
h) Copy of Aadhar Card / White Ration Card, (i) Death certificate of the father, if not alive.
N.B.: All Originals of the enclosures should be produced at the time of admission. Three photostat copies of the original certificates are to be kept with the students for any other purpose as the originals will not be given to the student during the course period.
No applicant will be admitted finally without personal interview by the Principal.
Any false representation made on the application results in summary dismissal of the candidate from the college with the forfeiture of fee paid.
The seat will be forfeited, unless the fee is paid at the time of admission.
No person shall attend class without securing the original Admission Card cum Identification Card after completing all formalities.
There will be no refund of fee paid in case of seats forfeited, seats not taken after they are offered, seats voluntarily withdrawn or for those who are dropped from the rolls. No request for change of group shall be entertained. Fee will not adjusted to any other course.
Students joining the College shall be solely responsible for taking proper course for which they are qualified and for fulfilling all requirements as per the regulations of the College and Acharya Nagarjuna University for Degree course and the Board of Intermediate Education for Intermediate course.
Candidates seeking admission in the middle of the year should produce an Attendance Certificate from the College last attended by them and the Certificates required by the University or Board of Intermediate Education for the previous term or terms of their course. Re-admission fee for Degree Course is Rs. 1000/- and for Intermediate Rs. 400/-
All rules and regulations published in the College Calendar and requirements for all traditions of the College shall be binding on all students admitted.
Students should put in a minimum of 75% attendance in order to become eligible to receive scholarship and to appear for Board of Intermediate/University Examinations.
If sufficient number of applications are not received for any combination or group, admission into that group may be cancelled and the applicant should be prepared to join other groups available, in case he has applied for that group.

i) Candidates for the two-year Intermediate Course shall be required to have passed the 10th Class Examination of Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognised by the Board of Intermediate Education as equivalent thereto.
ii) Candidates applying for English Medium should have passed the qualifying examination in English medium or should have obtained 40% in English in the qualifying examination. However a relaxation of 5 marks is allowed to S.C. and ST candidates.

Note: i) Students who studied the qualifying examination in English medium are eligible for English medium in Degree Course.
ii) If English medium students are not available preference will be given to those students of other media who secured not less than 40% marks in Part-1: English.

The college offers courses leading to MA (History & English) and M.Sc. (Zoology & Chemistry) of two years (4 Semesters) duration. These courses are affiliated to Acharya Nagarjuna University

Candidates should not have crossed 25 years of age by the 1st July of the year of admission. S.C. and ST. candidates will be given relaxation upto 5 years as per Government Orders. Candidates already having one P.G Degree are not eligible for scholarship. Application forms for admission are available in the College Office during working days on payment of Rs. 100/-in person or Rs. 120/- by M.O. All applications should accompany a D.D. for Rs. 150/- as Registration fee in favor of the Principal, Andhra Christian College, Guntur, drawn on any nationalized Bank payable at Guntur. Filled in application forms along with the following copies of certificates should be submitted in the College.
